Rickwood House is a family run guest house / b&b in Portpatrick

We describe ourselves as a hotel style guest house as we aim to provide many of the services normally associated with a small hotel while providing the care and attention to be found in a quality guest house. 

We were awarded Gold Star status in 2010 from VisitScotland and are  winners of the Scottish Hotel Awards 2011 Award for Best Scottish Guest House for Customer Care. We have also been ranked No1. Bed & Breakfast in Portpatrick out of 12 by Trip Advisor for well over two years.

We have a residents licence and provide home cooked evening meals.

Our six en-suite rooms, some with sea views, are invidually decorated and all have tv/dvd and well stocked hospitality trays

We are situated very close to Portpatrick Dunskey Golf Club and can arrange golfing discounts at this club and other nearby clubs including Stranraer and Wigtownshire County Golf Club. Both Stranraer & Portpatrick Golf Clubs are in Scotland`s top 100 courses.

Ideal base for touring the Mull of Galloway, South West Scotland and Galloway Forest Park including the Dark Skies Park. 

Ideally situated accommodation for the Stranraer / Belfast Ferry - early breakfasts no problem!
